Rates For Inspection Services
Please Note: NO CHARGES FOR CONSUMABLES!
Certified Technician*.......................................................... $80.00 per hour
One assistant (if required) and for radiography..................$50.00 per hour
*Radiography, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Positive Material Identification, Visual and Consulting, Hardness Testing
Film Charges
4 1/2" x 17"........................................................................ $15.00 each
7" x 17"...............................................................................$20.00 each
14" x 17"............................................................................ $25.00 each
Premium Rates
a) Premium rates will be charged at 1.5 times the original rate after 8 hours per day Monday to Friday and all hours worked on Saturdays.
b) Premium rates will be charged at 2.0 times the original rate on all hours worked on Statutory holidays and Saturdays and after 8 hours on New Construction, Repair or Revamp and Work on equipment not operating during a scheduled maintenance shutdown, because of the shutdown.
An 8 hour minimum will be charged, if work is not completed within the first 4 hours (of that shift).
c) Shift premium of 15% applies to work started before 6:00 am and after 1:00 pm.
d)'per diem' - $150.00 per night.
A MINIMUM OF 4 HOURS WILL BE CHARGED
Mileage Charge
No mileage charges in the Golden Horseshoe Area (Mississauga - Milton - Brantford - Nanticoke - Ft. Erie -
St. Catharines - Hamilton - Burlington - Oakville).
Outside of this area $1.00 per km. will apply. Travel time at applicable rates from St. Catharines, does not apply for large jobs (to be negotiated).
A minimum of 1 business day is required for notice of work.
Prices are effective from May 1, 2010 - April 30, 2011.
